The 7th Audio Visual Competition, organised by the North & East Midlands Photographic Federation, was held on Sunday 23rd March in the South Muskham & Little Carlton Village Hall.

The winner of the Narrative section and the Audience Vote was Keith Brown,of Castleton and Hope Valley PS, with his sequence “Now and Then”.
The sequence starts with background info on how the Beatles song “Now and Then” was produced and then an interpretation of the song using images taken by his father-in-law combined with more recent images.
The NEMPF judge Tony Collinson stated “This sequence has it all. A storyline developing into a personal reflection using a particular song.”

AND WE WANT TO KNOW WHEN WE CAN SEE IT KEITH

Not only did Keith have that success but he also won the Music, Poetry and Song section for his interpretation of the Ralph McTell song “England”. This was a combined effort, Kate having started the sequence and Keith completed it.

WELL DONE KEITH
