Two reminders at the start of this months meeting, firstly, Sheffield Photography Society Exhibition runs from March 20th to March 30th in Sheffield Cathedral and secondly to those of you that haven’t paid your subs, the cost remains at £35 for 2026.
The evenings presenters were Ian Holmes and Roger Moore with Ian leading off with his photos from working in Iran between 1975 and 1977.

– Built in by Darius the Great around 490 BC

–
The sio-seh pol bridge

– The Meydan-e Shah and the Sheikh Lotfollah mosque
Ian had to answer quite a few questions about his road design work but also the country he was in!
Then it was the break for tea and biscuits followed by Roger with a Pot Pourri

After “Colour Carousel” it was “Monochrome Medley”

At this point Roger showed the members several audio visual collections which I cannot readily reproduce in this post. So at this point I will give our thanks to Ian and Roger for a very entertaining evening and hope to see all our members and guests at the April meeting when Ray Brammall is our guest
