This was a meeting primarily to collect in prints for the 2026 Exhibition.
The secondary objective was to have some fun on the “Scavenger Hunt” with the theme of “Signs or parts of signs”. Each member could spend up to 30 minutes taking 3 photographs representing the theme, after which they return to transfer the images to the club laptop for projecting to the members attending.
So after a cuppa and a biscuit (or 2) the members were shown each participants 3 images and then asked to vote on what they thought was the best collection.

The audience voted that the best collection was number 7, which was the set of images from Steve Elliot.
Ian (this years chair) congratulated everyone that had joined in the “Scavenger hunt” and especially Steve Elliot for his success. Then Ian mentioned the photo opportunity afforded by the Castleton Garland Ceremony on May 29th.
Finally the audience were reminded that the June meeting would give everyone who attended, a chance to see (and vote) on all the prints submitted to this years Exhibition. There will also be comments and advice from David Gibbins ARPS.APAGB.EFIAP/b.BPE5.CPAGB/av who will choose his overall best colour print as well as the best monochrome print.
